New question here. 2012 S-Works Epic proper chain length. (new chain)

    I'll keep this short,

So just installed a SRAM pc1091r chain and would like to know what the proper length should be, I have read up on this issue and can't seem to find a reliable answer. Could somone please give me a length in inches or CM?

Chain is on a 2012 SW Epic 26er.

    Here is what you do.

You wrap the chain around the biggest gear on the cassette and around the largest sprocket up front on the crank (like you were riding it as a single speed on the largest gears) and then add 2 links to that length. you must bypass the derailleur when doing this. Just wrap from chainring to chainring.
