2010 Enduro Owners Front Derailer problems

We have noticed that a few people are complaining that their front derailleurs are not shifting well.... We've looked at these here in the shop and noted that in every case there was not enough housing left slack under the bottom bracket to ensure that the front derailleur shifted correctly. No, there is no problem with the front derailleur, just pull the housing down and inch or so and it'll work just fine!

The issue that we were presented with was that the cable was 'pulling off' of its ridge.

Hopefully we can help everyone else that comes upon this problem!

This problem gave me fits. I would get it shifting perfectly on a stand, then on the trail it would suddenly get all out of whack (because the cable was no longer routed correctly into the derailleur). It has been behaving recently, but I'll look at how much slack I have under the BB. I hadn't thought of that. I thought it was just wiggling loose in the slackest setting.
