    North Georgia Riding this weekend?

    Hey Folks,

I live Western NC and given our recent snow, I'm expecting our trails to be a total slopfest this weekend.

How are things looking in North Georgia? Any better? Never ridden south of the border and hoping y'all might be able to point me in the right direction!

    Thanks,

We had the same weather here...all the way down to Atl. Mountains still have snow in shaded areas. Trails will be messy. I live in Blue Ridge

Right now almost every trail (worth a hoot) is closed due to "freeze/thaw" conditions. Im hoping that maybe this weekend ONE of them will open up if it warms up like it's supposed to. I guess time will tell.

I'm wondering the same thing about tomorrow. I have about 5 hours to kill in Rome tomorrow. Thinking about hitting some of the snake creek gap stuff. Thanks in advance for any input!

I'm going to see what's open, I might wait until Sunday, I imagine most trails will be open then.

Let me know how it goes in Rome, my folks just moved there and I need to find some trails I can ride and stop by to visit them. I'm about an hour away in Marietta, they are in North West Rome, I think. Do you know anything about the trail that parallels 411? Probably a casual moto trail but I'm wondering about riding it on my CX.
This post is a natural product. Variances in spelling & grammar should be appreciated as part of its character & beauty.

    Thanks,
You do know that SC has trails too.

Usually Issaqueena in Clemson is the go to place when other areas in WNC/upstate SC are mush. Trails hold up much better in, and after inclement weather.
