Near Jacksonville for a father/son ride?

My 13 year old son has a soccer tournament in Jacksonville this weekend. Trying to figure out a way to bundle some other activity to help justify the trip and to occupy the free time. His last game on Saturday ends at about 1:00 pm, so we would have from then until dark to drive to and ride somewhere. His experience is limited (he is capable on the dirt bike, but not as much experience pedaling), so I'm looking for something that will be fun enough for me to be worth doing (e.g., single track) and also enjoyable for him (not too technical, if that even exists) or strenuous (e.g., deep sugar sand or something).

Any suggestions with color commentary would be most welcome!

Hanna Park. Miles of trails and its right next to the beach. Next closest system I know would be Ft Clinch, about a 45 minute drive from Jacksonville
I you don't want to be criticized...say nothing, do nothing.
