    Montgomery, AL

Anything worth riding in this area? I know Oak Mountain is 90 miles north, but thats going to be too far for me this trip. Anything within say, 45 mins of here?

So I rode Swayback this morning for a few hours.

I'm pretty sure its one of my new favorite trails. Fast and tight with challenging climbs and great descents. I especially liked bombing down the hills over all the root systems! The power line portion of the trail was lots of fun too. According to my GPS, I got up to 29mph at that section.

I saw a few riders out there. One I spoke with often rode a carbon stumpy 29er (I think his name was John). If you're reading this and that was you, thanks for all of the info and hospitality!

Thanks for the suggestions on this trail. I will definitely be coming back to ride this trail again.
