Iron mountain trail, Northwoods trail / AR

Thinking of making a quick trip out that way in the next couple days, Is their a preferred or mandatory direction to either iron mountain trails or Northwoods trail, any info would be really helpful.

Any Idea on trail conditions currently?
I don't always listen to slayer, but when I do so do the neighbors.

No idea on preferred directional flow. Arkansas has been experiencing a pretty bad freeze/thaw cycle, and a lot of the NWA trails are trashed with this weekend being the first weekend in a while that offers decent responsible riding, and that's mainly on some seriously weather resistant trails.

That being said: Northwoods is further south, so they may not have been getting as much freeze. I'd go to the Facebook page for the trail system and ask there:

That tends to be the way that Arkansas folks stay informed on trail conditions for the time being.

Trails are great but they will close them down if it rains. The greens and some blues are bidirectional. Check their Facebook for closings.

Northwoods will close after heavy rain mostly because it's so new. But Iron Mountain sheds water quickly so it's good unless you get a big rain like when I was there a couple months ago. It was still rideable but there were lots of pools at the bottom of drops where you'd get wet from the splash. There's no mandatory direction on IM (I use a bike bell to avoid head-on collisions on tight corners) but there is on Northwoods.
