    Hiking ideas close to Bentonville

Yea yea this is a bike forum but figured I'd post here to get the local feedback. I'm headed up mid march this time with the family. I've got the riding covered as I've been to the area several times.

I'd like to maybe grab a day to visit one of the state parks in NWA and do some hiking and enjoy the outdoors with the family. What would you suggest for a day trip away from Bentonville?

So many options. You can't go wrong with the Buffalo, but it's going to get into 90-120 minutes to get there. Once there, you have Lost Valley, Hawksbill Crag, Kyle's Landing, Hemmed-in Hollow and all kinds of options.

You could dip south to Devil's Den, which is also really good and has some awesome terrain. That will take a little over an hour to get to.

Finally, Hobbs has some good hiking. The Monument Trails are open for hiking, and there are also some other multi-use trails that are worthwhile.

REALLY easy and accessible would be Tanyard Creek in Bella Vista. It would take less than an hour to hike it, and it's not really remote, but it has some pretty spectacular scenery.
