    Hamilton Creek Question

Coming to Nashville for the weekend and looking to squeeze in a ride at Hamilton Creek. We have about 2 - 2 1/2 hrs there. We ride a lot, include the rocks/roots of Pisgah, and we can keep a steady pace.

How much of Hamilton can we cover in 2 hrs if we keep moving? Should we even be considering both loops in that time frame?

Having spent a great deal of time recently in the neighborhood of Brevard, if you ride regularly in that sort of stuff you should be bang on for the whole thing at Hammy. Most people seem to run around 2:10 to 2:20 for both loops out there. That probably includes some stopping to session some of the drops, etc because it's one of the few places around Nashville that has that sort of thing.

Yeah it should be no problem if you keep moving and you'll probably even have time to session a few things.

Thanks guys. Did both loops in just over 2 hrs. Worked us over pretty good and kicked off our weekend in town with a solid ride. Glad that lake is right there because that heat is no joke! Definitely missed our mountain air this past weekend.

Shame I didnt see this sooner. Always looking for someone to ride with. Around Nashville, Hammy is good. Lock 4 has more elevation changes and a few little jumps. Percy Warner has a little of everything.
