    Coldwater Mountain

Iím headed up to Coldwater Mountain in October. How are the trails up there? Anything I need to know about the area? Saw somewhere they said there was a lot of sharp rocks that would shred tires, tubes.
Thanks for any info you can give me.

    Cheers,
    Don

Half is hard pack dirt covered in pine straw, the other half is sharp rocks covered in pine straw.

Beginning of Bombdog is mostly sharp rocks, then it opens up to dirt with pine straw towards the bottom. Trail drains very well after rain.

The burlier the tire the better. Super fun place. Well laid out, well marked, trail maps in multiple places throughout. Youíll enjoy.

If you park in the Anniston lot you start with a climb and end with a DH (I think). If you park at the water pump road lot closer to the interstate (Iíve only ever parked here) itís the opposite so choose wisely.

Coldwater is awesome. It's rocky in spots, but nothing too bad, run a little extra tire pressure. I like parking in the Anniston lot.

Can anyone who's local, been recently, or otherwise in the know advise whether or not class 1 e-bikes are allowed at Coldwater? Reached out to NEABA but have not received a response.
