    Bentonville Camping with Electricity

I am looking for camp sites in Bentonville Arkansas that have electricity.
I see a lot of RV parks, but nothing for tent camping.

I am going up for Outerbike (I am in Dallas). Starting next year (after I purchase my new bike), I plan on making several trips up to Bentonville for riding.
To make it as cheap as possible just figured I would camp out since I would only camp for a night. Cheaper than a hotel, I think...

Looking for camp sites that would have electricity, and a facility for showers.

I live in Bentonville but don't know of any camping in town. My first choice for local camping would be Hobbs State Park; awesome facilities, trails, marina, etc. etc. My boy and I have camped there a few times and love it. There are lots of places around Northwest Arkansas to camp and hike, just depends on how far you want to drive to the bike trails I suppose.

I donít know when shower facilities and such will be finished, but Coler Mountain Bike Preserve will have what you want when itís finished. Not sure what completion date is though.

I am pretty sure it will be open for camping for Outerbike but may not have showers by then.

Prairie Creek Marina on Beaver Lake has electric sites. It's outside Rogers but within minutes of Bentonville. Lake Fort Smith has electric sites too, but that's almost an hour from Bentonville. Most tent camping that I know of (Devil's Den, Lake Wedington, Hobbs) does not have electric. The cool thing is they do all have their own mountain bike trails.

Edit: Definitely check out what Hogfly just said, I forgot they are putting in facilities at Coler!

New place about to come open. Not totally sure they have electric. I know they donít have RV hookups as in plumbing. Looks cool.

There is a campground in Bella Vista which is 15 minutes north of Bentonville that sits right at one of the trailheads for the Back 40 and Blowing Springs. It has rv and primitive tent sites. For electricity you will have to stay on one of the rv sites just like all other campgrounds. You can get any closer to the trails than this.

    Trailhead at back of campground.
Change begins by doing something different.
