    Anyone near Acworth/Kennesaw GA?

Just moved here in January, haven't ridden in a few years but finally ready to get back at it. Allatoona Creek is about a 10 minute drive from my house so I'll check it out for sure. Heard Blankets Creek is good too. I'll occasionally be near Sope Creek for work a few times a month. Anyways, just saying hi I guess and any info for the area is appreciated. Cheers.

I can ride to Sope Creek from my house, two miles. Be aware that a lot of Altoona Creek closes for hunting, I think starting Nov 1 (already closed until 10:00 am). I ride Blankets and Rope Mill a lot, 15-20 minutes from my house.

Altoona Creek is a good place to start, though. It's not quite as hilly as most of the other trails. And there are a lot of miles there. If you have any questions, ask away. I'd be happy to meet up with you sometime as well.
This post is a natural product. Variances in spelling & grammar should be appreciated as part of its character & beauty.

All of Allatoona except for the Turtleback and Red Baron trails are closed starting Nov. 1 for hunting. The main parking lot on Stilesboro Rd. is off-limits, too. You'll need to park at the Pitner Road dog park to access Turtleback until Jan. 1.

Check out Rope Mill, too. The pump tracks are a lot of fun. You aren't too far from lots of great riding in the mountains.

Awesome, much appreciated guys. Looks like Big Creek has some good trails too. Any superD or enduro races coming soon? I'm pretty comfortable with most stuff except for gnarcore dh and big air jumps.

Check out the Pinhotti trails up in the Cohutta Mountains.

There are some trails up near Dahlonega, Bull & Jake Mountain trail systems.

I've done some of both trail systems on a gravel bike but will likely be on an MTB in the spring.

I'm ten minutes by bike from Allatoona.

@Sadlebred's site is the resource for races.
