    Tapatalk No Longer Working

Was the site's feed to Tapatalk intentionally shut off? No new threads will load and it will not allow authentication.

Uninstalling and reinstalling were the first things I tried. Weird. The way it's acting is like there is a hard block on the connection between the two.

I will PM a site admin. I noticed a different change to the site today that was an improvement.

    I don't use TT myself.

Happening on my end, too. I am having other phone issues, so I thought it was related to those. I'll be resetting my whole phone and reinstalling all apps soon.

To add to this Klujer - I'm getting notifications but when I try to open a thread it says its been closed by an admin. Or it just sits there spinning.

I see that by the TT signature. No luck I tired it on my phone and still the same response.

You kind of get used to that stupid app lol. I sent them an email this morning, I never know who's at fault.

I will be testing this today. Nothing has been intentionally shut off, it likely just needs to be updated.

Symptoms were similar to a port or API endpoint change/auth issue. Didn't have a computer handy or I would have pulled HTTP response codes for you.

Speaking of which, is it possible to create a type-in window on every ID for people to put their Tapatalk, Strava, etc. ID in? I noticed that the old AOL.com and other IM stuff has been cleaned up but maybe you can add the two or more modern ones above?

That should just be a template hack. I will need to investigate this for you. I know some other sites had requested twitter, facebook, instagram and linkedin icon links.

they recently switched from http (non secure) to https for *.mtbr.com

maybe that is part of the issue here and anything old and cached for the site
    needs a refresh ?

Based off of past experiences that is a very likely possibility. Following standard practices port numbers, if being used, should have changed as well as the base URL and potentially a few other things.

Sounds about right. I opened a ticket yesterday for the plugin to be updated. I will update as soon as I know when its in the queue.
