Nice. Now when are you going to start making 48T 130bcd or 144bcd rings??!! I know you have a bunch o' hipster pals as well.

Just received a 33T ring yesterday in plum purple and it's been installed. Beautiful as always. Can't wait for the other 33T Gold ring to show.

No, I ordered two---purple and gold. I ordered them a week apart. I'm expecting it in a few days, since I got the shipping notification. But no hurry, though, since this is what the trails here look like currently.

I should have had you just put them both in one package to save you the trouble on packing two items. Oh well.

I might actually bump down to 44T 130bcd, so it may work out after all.

weird, i thought you ordered brown for the first one. The second one was a 32t in gold though. I thought about shipping them together but i didn't want to hold up the first ring. They were done in separate batches.

Yeah, my bad. It is brown. I thought it was dark purple at first. It's well hidden behind the bash guard, so no one will be able to see it matches with zero parts on the bike. Except for the dirt.

haha phew, that's better, i was thinking i sent you someone else's ring. That would suck.
I like the Canfield Bros frames, i have a local customer on the same one. Good looking bike.

I feel bad for you guys with snow now. Riding year round here in Pisgah NF.

I just picked up a HBC cog second hand, and am pretty excited about it.

I have a lot of BMX customers that will be in to these rings. Well done. Hopefully I can grab a couple myself soon.

Will there be other sizes besides the 29T prototype? 25T?

Not to thread hijack, but this is tangentially related.

Why are the spiderless rings limited to 28t minimum? Is it a demand issue or a design/materials issue?

i may be going down to 25t for spiderless rings in the future. Just never really knew where to draw the line in the sand, that adds quite a few rings because of all the different splines i make.

As for the bmx rings, 25, 29 and 30t will be the norm, however anything other than those rings between 25-36t will be made at a slightly higher price. I'm doing these different than the mtb stuff, I'd like to keep it simple this time.
This ring is quite a bit thicker than my spiderless rings, and heavier at almost 100g. It wasn't designed for weight, it was designed for strength. I am considering offering a light weight version as well though.

If you are looking to bust out a proto 25t ring for either an SRAM or Middleburn crank, know that I could give it a good home. I dig that you have to draw the line somewhere. If you made such a ring possible, though, you would be the sole source of a sub-28t chainring that could be mounted in the mid ring position of non-BMX cranks. I imagine there are some 1x? 29er riders who would be interested in such a ring. Alright, no more thread-jackery. Back to BMX radness.

There's no spline drive yet, but they will be offered in 3/32 and 1/8", and titanium.

Could I get in line for the 25T BMX prototype in purple please? If they fit Eastern Nomad cranks.

They're a 15/16" bore, so they should work with most cranks with the right spacer.
You'll be able to order one off the site as soon as sometime Monday

I would like to be able to get one of your cassette cogs also but would need 12t to mate with the 25t front, that's my ideal for 26" wheels. It gets me close to 55 gear inches. I have a Misfit that needs 25/12.
