    XTR Spider Spline

Can someone tell me if the XTR spider spline and the Truvativ spider spline are the same?
    Thanks

I don't think so - Boone would know for sure since they make the rings (as other riders here). I have a extra XTR M952 Crankset laying at the house we can pull the spider off and check - assuming you have the Truvativ crank???

I've got the Truvativ SS crank and want a spiderless ring.
The Boone's are $105 each Ouch. I'm sure they are sweet but I'm not ready to pay that much for a ring.

I just sold my extra new Spot ring for $50 I had a while and never used (cheaper than keeping and having to build another bike just for a ring). The ones on Ebay seem to have good reviews from others on the boards.

I'm intersted to know if the FSA spline is available yet as I'm waiting on getting a new ring for some FSA cranks for my Fixie.

Just checked Boone's site and it lists a Spiderless ring for XTR or Truvativ.

So they are probably are different.

I have seen them both up close and personal and they sure looked different.
