    XT crankset...is there something better?

I have an older version of the Hollowtech XT crankset and am looking for suggestions on a better crankset. Im riding a SIR 9 SS and have been told I could stand to lose some weight and get better performance if I changed to a better crankset. Will it really make that much of a difference?

Im 170lbs and will be racing a lot this next season.

that's marketing... XT's are perfectly fine... The only reason to upgrade to anything else would be to lose a little bit of weight... but performance-wise, you won't gain much...

looks like you've got it light where it counts....AC wheels...you might be able to save some rotating weight on tires. maybe upgrade the crank once the bb goes bad, until then it's fine.
