    Xpost- NitrouSStickel

For those of you that don't frequent the 29er forum much, here is my latest creation. Sporting some new HBC goodies too! Thanks Dan, nice quality parts!

Here is the build thread in the 29er forum as well- https://forums.mtbr.com/29er-bikes/nitrousstickel-712747.html

A beauty. Very clean, very understated. Is that an aluminium Loop bar?

Edit: I've just checked the build thread and my questions has been answered in the affirmative. I didn't know an alu version was available.

Super nice, I really like the silver/silver HBC cog.

Well, that and the whole freakin' bike. I mean... whoa. Where to start.

Had I not tried to destroy my shoulder last August, it would have been built around a rigid fork. I did keep that in mind with the geometry through the design process though. I also picked up the cane creek crown race to fit a 1 1/8 steer tube to the bottom cup.

Thinking real hard about a secondary fat front setup with a Salsa Enabler fork. If I don't do that, a white Niner Carbon fork might be in the future.

    That's a sweet ride.

Curious as to the top tube angle. Seeing such a sloping top tube, I thought perhaps he's short in the legs. But then I see you've got plenty o' seat post showing. Again, just curious. It really is a gorgeous bike.

Steve offers basically 2 different front triangles on his custom bikes. One is a traditional diamond triangle, the other is a sloping top tube with the brace. I went for the sloping top tube for additional clearance in techy situations and because I like how it looks. Plus Steve normally designs the frame to where you have 9-10 inches of post exposed, unless you request otherwise. Since mine was going to be as short and stiff as possible in the rear, the extra compliance is welcomed.

I am more torso than legs though.

Bar is wrapped and now I'm going on a bike path "shakedown" ride with the family. More pics later today.
