    WTB Single Duty Cog Question

    Hi,

I'm thinking of getting a WTB single duty cog from CRC. The CRC docs says it is a 1/8" chain but on WTB site it says 1/32". CRC also says it is only compatible with the WTB single duty hub.

    http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/M...?ModelID=33190

    http://www.wtb.com/products/wheels/s...inglespeedcog/

Does anyone one know if the cog is in fact 1/32 and if will work with a regular hub and spacer kit (XT hub)?

    Cheers...

Um, says right there on the WTB page you linked: 3/32". Did you mean 1/8"? The difference is only the 1/32" (which is less than a millimeter), doesn't really seem like it would be all that big of a deal size-wise.

I've got one on a bike with a ss-size freehub and it works a charm. I would seriously doubt that you'd have issues putting it on an XT hub with spacers.

The CRC site says 1/8". I think it is a missprint but just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something (like maybe there is a 3/32" and a 1/8" version or something like that).

I'm guessing you are right that it will be just fine.

Any recommendations for a good cog/chain/ring? I just started SS riding last fall. I've just been using junky $5 cogs up till now.
