    where to get a 16 tooth cog, quickly?

    I need one for the weekend and want aluminum if possible.

    Why would you want it quickly for the weekend, even though it's Tuesday?

    Dude I am so lost. Do you live in Antarctica or something?

    Why can't you just cannibalize your geared bike and use the 16t from that cassette? The bike isn't worth anything beyond that, anyways.

    Sourcing one local is the best way to get one quick. Buy a stamped 16t steel and order a 16t aluminum for the next next weekend ride.

    This thread is dum. I agree with Sparty. Knock 2 teeth off your 18t and go ride. but in reality..overnight a cheapo 16t from amazon or eBay and order a better one at the same time.

    Get a cheap Redline one for $3.50 seriously. I run them on my old Trek SS and they seem fine.
