Where can I find a 1inch threadless fork?!?

Can't find a friggin' 1 inch threadless fork for my SS. Tossed the original about 8 years ago and am kicking myself. Tried eBay, and they're few and far between. Any other ideas appreciated.

    Tange rigid fork

Tange makes a 1" rigid steel fork. Webcyclery and Speedgoat carry them.

the tange one is decent, but not suspension corrected. bikeman & aebike also carry them (or your LBS can order them).
you'll have to get spendy to get a suspension corrected 1" unless you luck across one at the parts bin in a LBS or on ebay.

Definetely go for the Vicious Cycles fork (if you like the steel thing)!

Another possible fork is held at Spicer Cycles (titanium). This fork is actually made by xacd in China.
I have the xacd fork myself and I am happy with it. (You can specify everything: rake, height, wall thickness, steerer...) Just make sure you get a beefy one, or it will flex too much!

When 1 1/8" headsets were first introduced to BMX a lot of riders wanted to run the new forks on their old 1" frames. Two solutions were found. The first was a Frankenstein headset, mix and match parts of 1" and 1 1/8" headsets until you find something that works. The second was to open up the races from a 1" headset on a lathe to fit the 1 1/8" steer tube. Maybe this would be easier for you and let you buy a fork that can swap into a modern frame later.

    Marzocchi can make them up

A few years ago, I was in market for a fork for an old Fat Chance frame. I heard that Marzzochi would press in a 1" steerer into any fork for a reasonable fee. Contact Marzocchi to inquire.

Of course there is the plethora of framebuilders now that build custom steel forks. I'd recommend Waltworks.

I'm using a Tange on one of my bikes, but I just noticed it's probably on its last legs since it looks a little bent back.
