    Wheelset for single speed

Does anyone know anything about Alex T2d wheels, is it a problem to use the paired spoke wheels on a single speed? Second choice is the Mavic Crossride, any opinions on either one??

No. Why would it? A singlespeed is still just a bike.

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common

I guess it depends on your 'style'

    mtss,

I would personally want the stiffer of the two wheelset's.
Some flex is good, too much would be bad.
The rear will take more torque than a geared setup, due to the long periods of unseated mashing.
If you want to ride steep, challenging or aggressive, the flex could be problematic.
