    Wheel Help Please.

I have a Bianche SOX 29er SS... It came with wtp speed disc wheels... I have had the bike for 3-4 years now and the wheels are trashed... flat spots, broken spokes in the rear and the left bearing/race in the front hub are shot... I have maintained them and trued them as much as possible but I ride some-what hard and its time to upgrade.

I need advice.... I really want tubeless and I have a budget of $750 MAX! I checked on mavic cross max but they don't seem to offer SS rear hubs? Also I have been told by the LBS that WTP is working on a tubeless rim that I could have built up but I can wait much longer so I need some options.

The bike shop I use is RAGE bikes in Scottsdale AZ and they do a lot of builds so if I can just get some advice on components I could have them build it but I'm also ok with getting a pre assembeld wheel set.

    Thanks in advance.

Stans Flow on Hope hubs should be possible for your budget.

i love my dt swiss wheelset. I have the xr1540's but it's essentially just the 240s hubs laced to some standard dt swiss hoops using steel bladed spokes. Maybe build yourself a similar set... it should run within your budget.

Love my Mavic CrossMax. Just use spacers. Don't need SS specific hub. They are bomb proof.

Why don't you go see Dave Thomas at Speed Dream. He's in Fountain Hills and does a lot of work with Stans. I ordered a AMC/355 SS wheelset last week. Take a few minutes and read the reviews on this site. HE's a great guy to talk with. Can't wait to get mine!
