What kind of taint paint do you use?

    Just curious.

P.S. Of course I mean singlespeed specific stuff.

I s'pose my point in posting might remain a bit obscure, it's just that there have been some funky posts go up on this board recently so I couldn't help myself. I think Mighty Matt saw through my lame joke...

As for the North Umpqua Trail, the rain continues to fall on Oregon. It's the 3rd of June and we've already exceeded our average accumulation for an entire typical month of June. A friend who rode NUT last weekend said there were sections of trail where the tread was the consistency of peanut butter. Can't go there.

I guess I'll hit the road for a(nother) boring century on Saturday (forecast = 72 degrees, partly cloudy and only 10% chance of precip.) but the trails will remain too tender.

Okay, let's let this lame thread die now. My bad... just trying to interject a bit of dry humor. Or was it wet humor?

No worries man, I knew what you were doing and saw all humor. I was just giving you a hard time.
All the mods know that if the rain coops up the MTBR'ers, they'll be some lively threads.

Even if there's an Ernesto Lube oil spill, no one would die... unless someone falls in a vat of Ernesto Lube and drowns. Happened to a mouse before. Only Ernesto Lube casualty.

I heard there was a huge Ernesto Lube oil spill gushing out of a pipe in the bottom of Lake Michigan at a depth of 5000 feet.

One time, the Ernesto Lube oil tanker that was sailing from Iowa crashed in the beaches of Nebraska - they contained the spill with a bunch of furry and cute critters... and bike chains.

You only had to sit on that one for about a week.

The rain is sucking, but I threw my back out yesterday, which will give me time to buy some more taint paint. I duct tape a clif bar to no man's land so I have something warm to snack on at the top of the hill.
