What to do with old gearie parts...

To the casual observer, this hitch receiver cover may indicate that the driver of this SUV rides bikes. To the more discerning among us, it indicates that they must ride a SS because they no longer needed the rest of those sprockets....

    p.s it even spins!

Playaz ride spinnaz, Playaz ride Spinnaz!

I just put all that crap in a bag so I can hand it to people and show them what I'm not dragging around anymore.

Those big oversized rubber nutsacks are for a trailer hitch? That explains the odd looks I keep getting!

You should patent that idea, I'd buy one - I get tired of all the boring hunter/fishing paraphernalia and genitalia I see down here in the south.

Would posting a deer head sticker on the back of fullsize truck, be the same as having a bicycle sticker on the back of my helmet…? ]

Actually, it is an old freewheel that one of the pawls were broken in. I took it apart, removed them so that it would spin freely (less chance of a nasty leg gouge it it spins both ways) I then sandwiched it between two washers .a carriage bolt and nuts into the face plate of receiver blank holds it all together. PM me if you want take-apart pics,

I am working on a version using a cassette and an old body and hub, held on with a quick release.
