that's an odd frame though. it has horizontal dropouts but it also has cable bosses for front and rear derailleurs. hmm...

When did he buy the parts?

I talked to the seller Sat. and got the impression the bike was still whole.

I hate to see a nice bike like that parted out. Almost felt like rescuing it. LOL

that listing i quoted is from Friday the 11th. it says "only frame and extra parts."

my cousin bought the parts a few days ago.

call the guy to find out for sure. his name is Valentine. if anything, that's a nice frame if you can haggle on the price. i'm still confuzzled by the shifter cable bosses on a SS frame with track dropouts.

O/T but I've had two dirt jumper frames like that. Never used gears on them though. One had the hanger welded on the frame the other had a removable one. But neither hangers could be adjusted to where they were on the dropout.

    You mean like so?

That's my '08 On-One Inbred, which has horizontal track ends and a der hanger. The photo above was taken when it was built up as a singlespeed, but right now the bike is equipped as a 1x8 (as a training tool for an endurance race coming up in July. After the race, she goes back to SS mode).

the guy relisted the bike again just yesterday. i guess he's put it back together with new components, because he's selling it as a complete bike again.

For a complete bike, wouldn't have been too bad of a deal.

If it's for frame and few parts for $200, not bad. IIRC, Jensonusa had the frame for sale at $200 last year? Great frame, IMO.

Edit: Just saw alex's post above. I'd say $400 and maybe settle at $450-500.

    Good to hear.

Nice bikes should not be parted out.

Nice bike! Are you gonna get it? I think it's a pretty good deal but maybe you could haggle a little more...
