Trek 69er frame or Salsa Selma 29er frame?

So I have the option of building a SS Trek 69er frame or Salsa Selma full 29er frame up. What is your opinion of these two frames?

    The parts list will include:
    Fox F29 fork
    Chris King Headset
    Truvativ Stylo WC Stem
    Truvativ Noir WC Bar
    ODI Ruffian Grips
    Hope Tech X2 Brakes
    Fifteen G Cranks and BB
    Crank Bros Eggbeater Pedals
    Charge Knife Saddle
    Thomson Elite Post
    Thomson Seat Clamp
American Classic Wheels, varying on full 29er or 69er
    Continental Race King Tires

So 69er or 29er? You decide.....

    It all depends

What are the trails like where you ride? I ride a Trek 69'er and it is great for going up and down hills, but slower than a full 29'er on the flats.

Every time I think I'm done with the 69'er and I am ready to trade it for a 29'er, I go for a tough hilly ride and fall in love all over again.
Sometimes, with a very strenuous effort, I will fatigue.

I work at a bike shop and have access to a closeout list on the Matte Rootbeer color frame.

The decision should be easy. Just look at the picture of the Trek. I have had one for two years and still love riding it more than my multispeed. I am considering buying another frame as a back up.
I also like watching people look at the bike and trying to understand the concept of two different wheel sizes.

Another question for you guys that run 69ers. I am 5' 6" and have a 30" inseam. What frame size would you recommend? I was thinking a 15.5". My 29er Fisher is a 17.5, but I think I want a bit more clearance between my legs when I'm standing over my frame.
