If your weather's like the weather's been here, it'll be mud brown before you know it.
Chasing bears through the woods drunk with a dull hatchet is strongly not advised

Yup, it's pretty muddy here too.

This is last nights mock up. I'll have better pics later. Things are complete now.

    Thanks for the compliments.

PlayDead, I went for the straight bar for now but I have an Answer carbon riser on hand. I may need the extra width on the riser. I'll try this first and see if I get too worked.

Only change I made from last night was to run Hayes Stroker Grams instead of the white trails. The black seemed to offset a little better.

I should be ready for a shakedown ride now.

Looks real good, are the rims gloss or matte white?

For what it is worth, the flat bar looks good! I think it will look better than a riser on that bike. The current setup just looks fast!

The hoops are a glossy wet white. They're SunRingle's in a 25mm width. They really fatten up the 2.1 on there.

Nice. White as the pure driven snow. I'm calling it the new "heavenly" bike look. The only thing that I'm missing is a Virgin de Guadelupe sticker.

What size stem you running with that Manitou? I have a 100 on there now with a flat bar and I kinda feel like I'm chasing the front wheel when cornering under speed and a little streched out when climbing.

I'm considering buying a stumpy little 90 or something??

That bike look super long. Is it a large? Wheelbase? Minute Fork is awesome!

Plus I boogered up the crown area by running the front brake line over and not under. I guess I thought that it would bang around otherwise.

I am also running a 100. I was worried about the same thing when I transfered the stem from my old SS. The Salsa Bars made up for that. I keep saying I am going to get a shorter stem and try it out, but I have yet to do it.

Yeah, I thick you would be better off by re-routing the front brake cable, but your jabber is one of the best I have seen.

I just added a matching DT RWS front QR, and some orange alloy king headset spacers to add a little extra bling.
