    Swobo brake removal

I hope someone can help me out. I recently purchased a Swobo Del Norte SS; my first road bike. It came with track bars and I want to put Cyclocross bars on. I have my new bars, but can't figrure out how to remove the brakes (from the bars) in order to change out bars.

Anybody with knowledge out there willing to help a dummy??

    Thanks,
Sometimes, with a very strenuous effort, I will fatigue.

Road brake levers usually have a screw inside the rubber hood. Look under the hood for a screw head. Its sometimes accessed by pulling the lever and looking into it. Takes a phillips head screwdriver or an allen bolt

On most drop bars (vintage Modelo and some vintage campy being the exception, and I know thats not what you have) take the cable out, and squeeze brake lever to the bar, there should be a 5 or 6mm bolt that you can now loosen a tad and slide the levers off the bars. You need to remove the tape to do this.
