    Surly stainless chainrings

Does anyone have a pic of one of the stainless Surly rings on their bike? Do they seem to be working well so far?

I tried searching the archives, but couldn't find anything.

    TIA

I don't have a pic but I love mine. The last one I had was Alum. and it got chewed up quick. I have only had this one for about two months and it looks untouched still. If your looking for chainrings I talked to a SS guru here in town and he mentioned two...Surly and Spot. Hopefully somewhat helpful.

i've had one for the past 3 months or so (400 miles). it works as well as any other ss chainring. being "harder" than alluminum it should last longer.

if your patient i'll get a pic up in a day or so.

No personal experience, but here is Surly's take on skinny chains:

"9-speed and 10-speed chains may fit tightly on our rings until they've been used for awhile. "

I'm already tearing up my ENO ring and will definitely replace it with steel when the time comes. A heavy metal drivetrain will rock.
