    Surly chainrings

Am just in the process of buying bits and pieces for my lovely new custom frame that I have coming very soon, and am just looking at the drivetrain...

Now, I have some of the very nice Endless cogs coming for the rear end, but am still thinking about what to get for the front..

Am just about certain that I am going to get some Middleburn cranks, but am just thinking wether it would be worth going for the Surly stainless chainring or just stick with an aluminium one..

Any thoughts? How do they compare with other chainrings?

The Surly chainrings might not look as perfect as a Spot or Salsa ring when new, may be a little heavier, but those suckers will last 5 times as long as an aluminum ring. So for the price they can't be beat.

I agree; but, where can you find a 32t Surly ring in 104/4bolt pattern?
And the Endless cogs are awesome. I have two.

Have got two of the Endless cogs on order.. hoping they will be here soon..

Anyway, this isn't going to help you much as I am in the UK, but the 4-bolt 32T Surly rings are available from Billys over here...

Try your local bike shop. That's where I got mine.
