    Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! ..:ride pics:..

Just a couple of pics from yesterday's ride, taken by Lidarman. I usually don't get to add content to this forum, so I'm 'borrowing' his pics of the ride.

Oh, and yes, there are some gears pictured, but not on my bike. Photos taken 'near' Estes Park, Colorado.

I think maybe my rebound was a little off here, but it turned out ok.

The photog gets photogged. Lidarman (sometimes SSer) on the second of a couple of tricky switchbacks.

Jose on one of the MANY steep sections.

    Samurai Cat rolling through.

Me working on my english skills.

    That's all folks!

    Thanks.

It's a Jenson HT 5.0 (kinesis built Chameleon).

    Good job! cool

nice pics, dig that last one.

How's the pace on the rigid compared to your FS buds? I'm already slow, but I really pick my way down the hill with the rigid fork on.

...for the photos skilz credit ;-)

Anyway, Jim was rocking on the bike--always out front. Seemed to be able to take a slow-ass pace with someone in front in a 22-32 gear on a climb..must have been ratchetting or something. Last time I rode my SS, I had just recovered from a collar bone break and it hurt like hell, then i ran over the front wheel. Maybe tomorrow, I will whip that puppy out again. But I do like two things--my knees and my gears.

...For whatever reason, Jim is craving a geared FS rig.

You can't have too many bikes, can you?

Besides, that ride is a bit more fun with suspension and it requires a little work without it. With 2350 ft climbing and 3750 ft. of technical DH, I was a little sore on tonight's ride to say the least.

It was 32:20, but I was wishing for 32:22 in a couple of spots.

    Nice pics, guys.

32:20? Sheez. Even up here in the sierras I run 36:20.

    But then again I walk.

    A lot.

Oh yeah, I totally miss you homos. Come out for the downieville gathering. You especially, Reeech.

36:20 wouldn't cut it for me, here, I'd rather feel like I'm riding than hiking. Maybe I'm a wimp.

As for downieville, whew, that's far away. I think buying a new bike is going to consume my extra $ this summer. I'd like to go though.
