    Suggestions needed for FAT grips!

So I have some tweaked (trigger) fingers and a sprained thumb. I'm been using Ergon grips for a month on my Tranny, and it's helped, but I'd like to try to some grips that are more traditional.

    Thanks for the help!

Bar tape, you can make it as think as you want, or regular old Oury's.

Oury lock-on grips and Odi Rogue are both pretty fat, and all I use.

just put these on aboput a monthg ago:

Serfas Silicone Grips > Sale | Jenson USA Online Bike Shop

not quite as soft/comfy as ESI's but for the price i couldn't be happier. they are hard as hell to get on but because of that you get no movement once they are in place. they seem to be slightly bigger than the esi chunky which might be too big for some but i have big hands and they are treating me fantastically so far!

Glue on Oury grips are super fat and super soft. Way more comfy than the lock on Oury and Rogue.

My handspans is 9" , and I run lizard skins north shore lock-ons. I am very happy with them, as they are fat but not too squishy.

i've measured with calipers, the odi rogues are the largest lock on available right now (slight edge over the ourys). visually (not measured) they are a "fair bit" larger than the ESI chunkys (which in the grip world isn't like huge or anything)

despite my small stature i have 10" handspan and i couldn't run anything less than the rogue (i only use lock ons). i've tried bar tape which is nice for the custom factor but i don't like the feel on traditional bars and i seem to tear it quickly.

WTB Moto X is the fattest I've seen, fatter than anything else listed here. Also, completely awesome too...

Well darn it, my rogues measure 33mm and the WTB claim 35mm...thanks for posting that!

Are they compatible with regular lock on clamps?

I had an old pair of lock on rogues that were worn out, I stripped the rubber off so all I had was the plastic tube with the lock rings, then glued Oury grips on to that. Those are big grips. They are awesome for the SS.

I love the ESI chunkies. I only wish they made something like a 35 or 37mm, it would make my day...

ESI "Super Chunkies". You have to call and ask for them, but they usually have a few pair available.
    Whining is not a strategy.
