    Stylo 2.2, SS conversion

How do I know what bolt size I need?

I am trying to convert my 2.2 to 1.1 but am not sure what size bolts I will need to make this work.

    Thanks

some1 correct me if i'm wrong but... if you run a bashguard you don't need to change the chain ring bolts..if you run just the ring you can usually find the short CR bolts if you ask. Cost $7 here and that's for 5 in the pack. I think the CR bolt's share a standard size.

they make two widths one is a double ring the other is a single ring. if you use a bash guard the double will work like previously stated. if you are not running a bash guard you need a single ring width. which i believe is the same as a bmx chain ring bolt.

what about chain rings w/o ramps? What size is that? I have never done a conversion but am getting forced to save change on my new build.

    Thanks

mine is a 104 but it is a single speed only crank. on my new bike i am using an XT crank run the same way so it can be done. just an FYI though some cranks require you to use the studs that hold the small chain ring on even though you are not using that chain ring.
