More importantly - how are you feeling after your ground density test a few weeks back? Good I trust! How long before you can ride again? I was looking forward to maybe heading up to Annadel on Tuesday, but the way it's raining down here south of Oak-town, I wonder if there is any hope of it not being a swamp on the 30th..?

For those of you with spoke cards from Napa, listen up. We will be posting a reg form over to the right on January 4th. You will then print it, write on it, color on it, and send it and your spoke card to our mailing address. You will get an entry if you send us your spoke card.
    what's a spoke card?

i'm doing alright. i can't ride for a couple more weeks though. they don't want you risking another head injury within 6 weeks of the original injury cuz of risk to serious brain damage. i figured i'ld like to keep the few brain cells i have left, so i'm sticking it out. still a sprained wrist and shoulder would keep me off the trails for the moment anyways. can barely turn a door knob without a bit of pain.

yeah, I was hoping a pie plate (number plate) was the same as spoke card... but that seems far fetched. besides, I think I threw mine out

Everyone got to race at Napa, seems if you are traveling out there a spoke card or whatever else they come up to register is not going to stand in anyone's way.

this is a spoke card...mine was procured from Team Dicky.
    he didn't even squeal.

the cards were given out at the group ride (american cyclery) and at the bowling alley - all in advance of even being awarded the right to host.

    their confidence was impressive.

Registration is Sunday and date change!

Looks like it is just a coloring contest, so I am sending it regardless of spoke card and doing an bad job staying between the lines!

Sorry friends. We had several mishaps in the scheduling game and we had to make a bigtime switcheroonie. August 6-9th is no more. September 16th through the 20th will be the new and last date to remember. The riding is way better at that time of year anyway, so be stoked. Sorry to all you school teachers and school kids, you may have to call in sick or get a sub. Remember that Sunday January 4th, right here, we will post the mail-in registration form and the address. The reg form also doubles as a coloring contest, so do your best and get creative with it, as those who do will be rewarded. For all you overseaers, do not worry about the mailage time, your distance will be compensated in the collection process. The specifics of this process will be better defined in the days to come. Hope you love the new date.

Similar to the regular Skyline race, with a bonus mini-loop thrown in..

Sorry, Don't know the specifics. I was too busy drinking beer.

Spoke cards went to the prettiest people at SSWC08. I got two for being extra pretty.

There will be no fun at the SSWC09 by orders of the supreme autobot Optimus Trek.

Date change huh? Damn I was looking forward to being drunk from Aug 2nd all the way through the 10th. My worthless brother in law is getting married the weekend before the event. Oh well, it give me more drinking preparation time.
