SSSSS pics - Post em here

I just got back from a good time hanging out at the SSSSS. It was good to put some faces with some names. We froze last night, so rather then do that again just to pack up at first light, we packed up, then had smores and hit the road. We were home by 10:30. For two obvious reasons we missed the main Noble canyon ride this morning, but I wanted to show what we did do. This was the first ride for the urban utility Mia. I must say it excelled on a few miles the relatively easy single track of the BLM trail. My son only sat on the rear tire once Looking forward to more pics of the real rides and festivities!

    Way to go

Cool shot with your kiddo in tow. My youngest has just moved onto two wheels and my oldest has just increased her mileage and difficulty on her last trip out with me. Ref: Passion threads "World's best riding partner".

    Enjoy your partner!

The trail-a-bike is cool, but not really designed for trail use. He learning to ride on his little red Schwinn 12", and I'm shopping for a 20"wheeled BMX mini. Then we can SS together each on our own bike by the end of the summer hopefully.

    Hey Matt

Nice meeting you. I like the look of that chain. Should most pro bmx shops have it?

I hope it's still got some for Thurs. night.

How do I dictate the name of the shortcut name?

    Thanks, everyone!

It was good to see everyone out there, even though I had to work on Saturday
Oh, and for any of you who weren't there, we ran into one of Ellsworth's newest "women's" racers.

Great to meet you too! My chain was about $29 at Dans Comp. I only removed one link, so on a 29r with longer stays there could be an issue with the length.

    Robbers in camp

    Explanation of an earlier post.

These two robbers came into camp and tried to make off with the beer and swag. The smaller one was obviously the brains of the operation, his accomplice forgot to pull up the mask to conceal his identity

    Lots of SSSSS pics...

    I posted 45 pics here:

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/91694861@N00/sets/345176/

You can also view each as a larger image if you want to copy anything. Otherwise just email me and I can get you a full-res pic.

So should we do it again this fall?

This must be one of those controversial transgender racers I was reading about in the last Bike Magazine issue.

    tire

Hey, what tire is on the back of that grey/silver dean? I'm building my first singlespeed and trying to decide on parts. That tire looks like it gets some serious traction. By the way, I"m new to the board.

Hey, why is the sky so blue? And what is that bright dot in the sky? Making me jealous with all the sun and dry trails. Up here in the PNW we have this little event called BC. The SSSSS looks like a So. Cal version. Sweet, looks like a good time had by all. Hope our trails dry out soon.

    New question here. tire

Hey, what is the huge rear tire on the silver dean? It looks awesome and I bet it gets great traction.
