Caution; Merge; Workers Ahead! SShowing the BoySS how itSS done!

After a little bit of convincing i finally got Liz (3blackbikes) to commit on getting herself a new SS 29er.

We all agreed to meet up at my local trail and do some climbing and ride a little bit of chunk.
His and Her singlespeed. Being that this is her 2nd ride, the bike still has that brand new smell.

Temps were supposed to be a scorcher but we got super lucky with an over cast the entire day. Thus keeping us cool for the climbs.

Our friend Doug (Pacman) was there to join us as well.

Here he is climbing up the steep road to the Oak Tree.

    And shredding the rocks!

The dirt was amazing, it must've been from an evening thunder showers.

Liz is loving her her new Steed!

She kicked both of our asses up on the steep climbs and the steep descents that i took her on. Now, i have her, my wife and the rest of the world to beat up on me

Not many girls i know ride SS 29er so i'm stoked to see her kill it on my local trail.

here she is probably contemplating on her upcoming race in Oregon or thinking right about now how awesome her bike was.

After a small snack break and a quick sightseeing of the views....we were up and going once again on some of the flowy sections of the trail.

Most people ride this trail with a FS and FF helmet but not this girl!

    Watch out boys and girls!

****ing *******load of pics, but probably maybe worth it.

The woman is probably better than i will ever be. If she had burn time in Oregon, she can give my girlfriend some tips and we'll all be happier.

    That's how we do down here . . . .

We've got beautiful blue skies a pretty high self-absorption quotient in So Cal.

Excellent pictures, what a trail...quite rocky and gnarly, and on a SS, absolutely challenging ! Congrats to both of you !
    Simple, not easy.
