    SS MTB Crank

I am building out my new SS MTB and need some recommendations for a NICE crank. Any recommendations other than the Truvativ Sylo and Truvativ Noir?

    Thanks!

Depends on your budget. Blackburn & White Ind make great SS cranks, but here are a few "budget options": using Shimano XT or LX ([email protected]) crank arms with a SS ring, or Race Face Evolve or Deus SS Cranks. I currently run Evolve XC SS cranks and they're stiff, fairly light, and very affordable.

I am using this crank and really like it.

I tried the Sylo and an FSA SS crank and they barely lasted me a year each.

Alot of people also like modified XTR cranks.

I ride Middleburn RS-7s with a 32t UNO chainring. You can get some custom rings from Homebrewed if you really want to style them up.

Another vote for the e13 crank....bad ass and stiff as h3ll. Great serviceable and cheap bb too.
