    SS Cranksets?

Anyone out there have real world experience with the White Industries SS cranksets and square taper bottom brackets? Square taper has taken a real beating over the years, but WI swears these make a stiff combo. It's easy enough to find an efficient setup, but I'm looking for that magical combination of light-weight, SS specific and SWEET looks.

    Thanks!

    I'm using the cranks

with a race face BB. I'm a 200 lb former powerlifter and I don't notice any flex.

In my opinion there's nothing better than a modified XTR M960 crankset. It's absolutely bomber, super stiff, and very light at 640g with a bb, and about 540g without. They're not too expensive either.

Excellent! This is exactly the kind of stuff I was looking for. I've contacted RD and Dan about a combo. Thanks for the input.

    They're not broken. It's a multi-speed chain ring.
