If you havenít heard, Potomac Velo Club is working with our 2004 sponsor, Fitness Concepts, to put on the first major mountain bike race of the year!

The Fitness Concepts Greenbrier Challenge will mark the return of AMBC racing to the area. Mark your calendars for March 21st at Greenbrier State Park in Boonesboro, MD, (located just west of Frederick, MD).

Greenbrier has a durable all-weather course that is fast but challenging, a perfect course for the first in the season.

There are 41 Different Classes, including Pro/Semi-Pro/Expert/Sport/Beginner, Juniors, Masters 30/40/50+ and Singlespeed! The purse is now over $16,000 in cash and prizes, with another $68,000 in discount training coupons from our title sponsor, Fitness Concepts!

And this year, there is No NORBA License is required for Beginner, Sport, Junior, and Single Speed riders. Annual NORBA Licenses are required for Pros and Experts, and there are no longer any one-day licenses.

Volunteer and get a FREE race entry!

Volunteering just 4 hours in any capacity will get you a free race entry for this race or a Wednesdays at Wakefield race! Free entry is transferable to a family member for the Greenbrier race. Volunteers are needed for Course prep, Registration, Scoring, Marshaling, Starting, and Setup/Teardown.
