    SS build suggestions

I am looking to build a 29er SS rig on the cheaper side of the spectrum. I found a heck of a deal on a frame (Zion 737 ebb) which looks right up my alley. Now for component spec, I would like Avid mech disks and an H-bar. What are some good cheap and reliable components for a rig like this? Also does anybody have any experience with the Zion and its respective fork? I could not find reviews on the frame or fork. Thanks.

I'm a huge fan of Pricepoint's Sette line of seatposts, stems and handlebars. I was just looking at my seatposts today and the Sette APX is lighter and nicer than both the Easton EA50 and Ritchey Pro.

In wheels I really like XT hubs and WTB SpeedDisc rims for budget builds.

WTB saddles are de rigeur. Even the cheap ones are good.

IRC Mythos tires from Pricepoint are great value.

Cranks are the most problematic IMO. You can get Truvative Firex or Stylo for cheap but I would prefer Shimano XT or White Brothers ENO.
All problems in mountain biking can be solved by going faster, except the ones that are caused by going too fast.
