SPAM: Wily SS frame/fork for sale

I (Wily) am a sponsor of the 29er forum, and though we do a lot of 29ers, we also do some 26ers. As a mtbr.com forum sponsor, I hope you guys/girls don't mind me posting this SPAM ad here also (I have x-posted it on the 29er forum)

This is one of the demo Wily frames we have. It is 26" wheel, SS with Paul's dropouts, V-brakes only, with matching rigid fork. The tubeset is all True Temper OX Platinum, and the fork uses super compliant True Temper blades. The frame is suspension corrected for an 80mm fork, so you can always swap the rigid fork out for a suspension fork. There is plenty of room to run 2.4-2.5" tires, front and rear.

You can see the incredible nice Spectrum Powder Works paint job. It is a really cool flame job, with a bit of a fade to it. The base color of the frame is a pearl dark blue. The frame also has a sterling silver Wily paw headtube badge on it. The frame has seen a bit of riding, and has a few large scratches, but none of the scratches goes into the metal. All just in the paint. Nonetheless, the frame is in really good shape (includes our lifetime warrany) and is real looker. The frame joints are all fillet-brazed. This frame/fork would normally retail for around $1750 (including the expensive paint job).

I am looking to get $850 for the frame/fork combo. I can also source almost any parts you might need to built it up.

The frame takes a slightly wider q-factor crank setup since we really maximized tire clearance. The frame had been built up with an old Octolink XTR BB and crank, with a jericho 34 ring. The crank arm and chainring fit was really tight but still worked fine. I can also sell this XTR BB/crank combo with the frame if you are interested in it. Just let me know if so.

    Geometry:

    Seattube length (c to c): 19.25"
Toptube: 25.75" - works incredible well with an 80-100mm stem
    Head tube length: 6.0"
    Head angle: 71.5 degrees
    Seat tube angle: 73.0 degrees
BB height: (with 2.4-2.5" tires) 12.25"

These pics should allow you to see some of the scratches. Really it doesn't look that bad, but i want you to be aware that there are some larger scratches on the frame, but no dents in the tubing, nothing structural for sure.

also forgot to mention that the fork already has a Chris King baseplate on it.

    Still for sale.

If you or anyone else you know is interested in this frame/fork make me an offer. I would be willing to come down a little bit. I will put it on Ebay in a few days but I just thought i would see if anyone from the SS Forum was interested first.

    thanks

    On Ebay now

No luck selling it on the forum, so i am letting the market decide the price. No Reserve. I am posting this because i had a few people ask me to let them know when i did put the frame/fork on Ebay.
