loving mine. tapered TA 120mm fork, single-speed, hydraulic brakes, sometimes has a 9 speed rear mech on it but SS most of the time. I just bought a rigid for for it too. very versatile bike. not sure why I would pick a Karate Monkey overa Juice, given the choice.

I worked at a shop where Soma was really the brand that I could buy for a steel frame, so I bought a Double Cross Disc too.

Nice photography. Great Soma frame. Reminds me of my original brown Bianchi BuSS, still riding in many incarnations, mainly as a snow bike.

I have bumped the fork from 100mm to 120 and changed a few parts since this photo was taken a year ago but this is about how it's set up. I thought I would hate the longer chainstays (longer than the ones on my previous karate Monkey) but the geo is really nicely balanced for everything I do on it.

Nice bike! I have fond memories of my green Juice. I'm curious how big of a tire can fit back there--my KM can fit a Fat B Nimble, if the Juice could do the same, I would be tempted.

Love the Juice frame! I am thinking real serious about building a Sandworm over the summer so I have another fatty next winter. Soma makes some damn nice frames.

I have a 2.25 Maxxis Crossmark on the back of my Juice. There's plenty of room. I wouldn't hesitate to put a 2.3 in back, and suspect the right 2.4 would fit and still have a little clearance, pending how far any side knobs stuck out. for what it's worth, the ID on my rims is 23.
