So my friend finally comes over to the dark side...

So after riding a big full squishy converted to single (by my knee going through his wheel in a spectacular crash last year) for a while, my friend picked up a screaming deal on a beautiful Cuss at the Seattle Bike swap today. Now he just has to keep it low key until he sells one of his other bikes to be able to bring it home to the wife.
Of course, it was only because he was on a 40lb full squishy that I could keep up with him on the trails. Now with this all aluminium hardtail, I fear I will never be able to keep up!
Here's a picture of the happy man with his bright and shiny celeste bike (we're naming it the Red Green bike in honour of one of Canda's finest TeeVee shows).

Your friend looks like one of the character's on the Red Green Show!

Man, that show has to be one of the best from Canada! Hilarious stuff! We get it in NE Ohio through the public TV station sometimes, though it has been awhile since I've seen it...

It really is a sweet looking bike, that colour scheme is just so spot on, it rides nice too

I think I'll give Chris the teal-sidewalled 2.0 Blade I have in my garage. It looks so wrong on my bike and so right with the celeste.

    Next up, one of these:
Or one of these in red:

We're so gonna get spanked now that his bike doesn't weigh in at 40lbs

Knee through the wheel works wonders every time. That's why Senior Blowout wears armour.

I remember the first "incident" when it happened in Capital Forest.

Chris is finally on a SS? After all the crap I flung at him a couple of weeks ago? Ok, maybe it wasn't that much but I did sorta ask/tease him about when he was gonna SS.

Anyways, thats great, he is gonna really like that bike and the ride it'll give him. How long before he starts doing big drops and stuff? Tell 'em I say "Right ON!"

    bike ON
