    SLX cranks for SS

    Any body on here use these cranks for SS, how do you like them?

    Lots of people use them for SS. They're probably the best value in cranksets out there, SS or otherwise.

    I was planning to get an SLX set for my new bike, until I found an incredible deal on Saint in my size. Suits the color of my bike better

    i thiught saint and slx were the same

    I use the SLX with the pedal inserts for my SS, and the non-pedal insert SLX cranks on my geared bikes. Best crank for the money.

    they would be fine as others have said, as would virtually any newer crankset. SS-specific cranksets are for poseurs

    i ride them on my ss hardtail. slx is the best thing thats happened to shimano since trigger shift.

    I use a SLX double converted to SS, it works just great, just as stiff as my old saint, only much lighter
