    Singleworks cogs?

Singleworks CrMo cogs. I just did a search and didn't find a discussion on these gems. They are similar to Surly but a little cheaper ($18) and a little lighter (20T SW-66gms; 19TSurly-69grams) and the base is a little wider (4.4mm-Surly; 4.5mm SW). I just picked it up and am installing it as we speck. Anyone have any experience with these.

I like the five cutouts more than Surly's uninspired holes.

Nice...I like the price, especially since I found that I will likely need a couple more cogs already. I like my Surly but this looks just a nice and steel is real.

    $12-16 shipping

Maybe not cheaper than surly. Can't find reasonable shipping for this cog.

    For one cog? Paging Shiggy.

Edit: I just ordered one and went through checkout and came up with a total of zero dollars for shipping.

Shipping is like $11 for parcel, $13 for priority for 3 cogs. Pushes the price up to about $14 per cog. Still a lot cheaper than the $30 Surly cog, when buying more than one.

SpeedGoat has the Singleworks on sale for $16 each but they want $14 shipping for ONE cog!!!!!

Its stuff like that that caused Speedgoat to lose me as a customer long ago.

I think $26 is the cheapest I found one, not looking hard. That's w/o shipping. Might be some out there for less though. When I ordered mine, it was $30 but I ordered it with a bunch of other stuff and got free shipping. So if you order a single cog from someplace and nothing else, with shipping, you are still going to be close to or more than $30.

Those of you that have the Singleworks cogs, where are you getting them from?

Yeah, I won't order from there with shipping that high. Should not be more than five and some change (USPS flat rate box) and probably could be shipped for less. Nothing I hate more than being ripped off for shipping costs.

Contacted Speedgoat via their online chat. They knocked the shipping down to $7 so I ordered 3 of the Singleworks cogs which are on sale (ending today) for $16.60 each. So that's not bad.
