    Good job! Singlespeed vids

Here's a couple of videos I made recently of me on my Kona Unit. The second one has already been posted in Passion, but I remade the first one properly today.

    Enjoy it best in 480p.

    Holy crap **** balls!!

Good wideos. I was absolutely amazed that you could ride a SS 29er without an alt bar. Consider my mind blown.

The second video was swank, because the song was awesome and I could sing along and pretend like I had appreciation for improvisation. I don't.

We could totally ride together. Never get air, and I'd need lots of stops for water and reassurance that koalas are not aggressive. Next time you are in Orygun, give sParty a ring. If he is busy, I'll try to make some room in my schedule for someone with a weird accent.

Nice stuff !! - if I watch something and it makes me want to get out and ride then it must be all good. I've been meaning to do something like this for quite some time but, slacker that I am, I haven't got round to it yet.

Who was the music in the second video? - the cover of the Radiohead song "You do it to yourself". Nice, whoever it is, but then I'm a sucker for trombone solos

Koalas are fine. Their close relative, the drop bears, are b!tchin' aggressive. The bars have a 17 degree sweep, so I'm getting there. You're the one with the weird accent. Would love to ride Orygun. Is that in Canadia?

The song is a Mark Ronson version of "Just" by Radiohead, featuring Alex Greenwald. Glad you all liked it.

Is there a lot of good riding around? As a (possibly) soon to return Melbournian ex-pat I am interested to know...

Thanks, I used a Canon IXUS 70 7.1mp digital camera and then used Windows Movie Maker to put it all together.

There is more than you can imagine, and more still on the way. All different levels of difficulty too. How long have you been away?

PM me when you return, and I'll show you around.

Oh sweet. That's good news. We've been gone 6 years so far. Thanks for the offer - I'll take you up on that although it may not be until after the Olympics :-)

Orygun is about an inch closer to the equator than Canadia.

I have a weird accent, too.

FWIW umarth and I live within 15 miles of one another but we have yet to ride together. I'm not convinced he actually rides bicycles.

I like the first vid; this has as much to do with the music as the actual video part. I like Efficient Machine by the Swedish dude and the "these are the pictures" sequence is jah. Nice.

Look us up when you get here. If you like the trails you've got over there, you'll squeal when you reach Orygun.

    Bring a banjo.

Also, to be fair, I'm the only one of the two of us we've actually seen at a trailhead with a mountain bike...
