    Singlespeed specific chain?

Anyone have any good chain recommendations? I'm new to single-speeding and haven't heard yet what a good chain to use is. Are any 9 speed chains fine, or should I head towards something like the SRAM PC1?

Get a KMC BMX chain, the PC1 is the worst chain of the SRAM line.

I use the PC89 without problems.

If you want a strong and heavy chain check out the Shadow Conspiracy Half Link Chain.

SRAM PC68 works like a champ. I've used them for years without issue.

have tried SRAM and KMC....definitely prefer the KMC (subjective data of course).

So long as you dont run a 1/8" BMX freewheel, which I doubt, I would personally recommend the KMC Z610HX model....I run it now on 3 of my bikes and it is awesome.

KMC's wear much better. SRAM wear out faster and I have broken a PC1.

And I bought some KMC Z-510HX for $6.95 each at Nashbar.
