haha, the funniest thing about that video is after you stop and look around like "ok, where's the A-hole with a camera hiding in the bushes waiting for someone to die?"

at first i was thinking "let it out man, GO!" it looks like a slow descent but it's hard to tell how steep a downhill that is. after seeing the clothesline I'm glad you didn't.

is that a new trail for you or do you ride it a lot and someone just put up that rope?

    SS cyclocross
    Full Sus 29er (Yuck)

Stop asking how much it weighs and just go ride it.

Looks like the rope was there to prevent people from crossing the bridge for a reason. Looks like there was a paper sign or something at one time hanging from the rope. Doesn't look malicious.

it was faster then it started the level out near the bottom and since I was on a single speed I would've still spun if I had tried to crank it. So I was bleeding of being a little bit but I was trying to maintain as much as I could. I've road at once before and I rode over the bridge a few months ago. I haven't been back there until that day so I wasn't aware the bridge was road off. I'm guessing it was roped off to keep horses from walking over it. And given I was on a rigid fork bike and the trails were washed out and terribly rutted I wasn't able to start going fast as early as I wanted to. that may have been a good thing in this case lol
