Rotor Q-ring / Chainguide compatability thoughts?

Good day all, this is technically not a SS-specific question, but I thought this might be the best board for help on this!

I'm looking to convert my 2x10 to a 1x10 (and perhaps eventually a SS!)...

I'm looking to get a Rotor Q-ring 34t SS for the front but am wondering what types of chainguides will work on this set-up--in my mind's eye (past the donuts) the chain will be rising and falling slightly as the Rotor's asymmetrical rotation goes around (and around and around). I was originally looking at the e.Thirteen XCX chainguide, but worry that the up and down motion of the chain may cause problems there.

I used to run a simple chain keeper on my old bike, but my current bike is CF and has a most peculiar shaped seat tube, meaning that I'd have to use an e-type mounted chainguide.

Any thoughts? And yes, technically not a SS-specific question, but I'm getting there--from 20 gears to 20, then hopefully to 1!

    Many thanks!
