    Roox Torque Bar

Can anyone give me some feedback on using these bars for SS'ing? They are very wide and I'm thinking of giving them a shot...

    Thanks

    Monkamoo Good!

I just ordered a Roox seatpost. Don at Monkamoo is excellent and on the ball. I would highly reccomend doing business with him. I'm very satisfied with his service and support.

Yeah, Don seems like a very good person to deal with and I ordered the Chaindog since I am going 1x9 on my full-susser. I almost got the Rohloff chainguide, but that RooX had more character with the dog etched on the side..

Those bars were somewhat popular for trials use a few years ago. I find the lack of upsweep to be uncomfortable and the bars are generally heavy. The wall diameter is nearly 4mm. JJ Gregorawicz' (arguably the best US trials riders ever) ran them on his bike and stuck with them for a few years.
