    Rigid fork problem, need advice.............

I'm looking at getting a new fork and having it powder coated the same color as the Tractor, but here's my problem: The fork I have now is 430mm crown to axle. The Surly forks I am looking at will fit a 2.7 tire (the current fork I have is to narrow, a 2.5 rubs a bit). The Surly forks are the Instigator (447mm) and the 1x1 (413mm). Should I go with the longer one or the shorter one? The frame has a slack head-angle and I like how it rides, but I'm not sure how it will feel with a different length fork. Any advice?

The Dimension disc only fork is ~415 mm and will take a 3" tire (gazzi 3.0) with a bit of side knob trimming.

The the bigger/heavier tire I doubt you would notice much handling change.

I think you would notice the slacker angles with the Inst. fork.

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common

    Where do you buy them?

    Hey Shiggy,
Who sells the Dimension forks? I am going to try the WTB TimberWolf 2.7 race tires.
